Chlorinating Your Pool |
The easiest way to get a sparkling, clear, and clean pool is by using a liquid chlorine feeder like The Liquidator®. The Liquidator® is a chlorine feeder that is safer and cleaner than, and just as convenient as floating tablet feeders. By attaching to and running off of your pool's pump, The Liquidator® saves you the trouble of having to worry about putting the right amount of chlorine into your pool every single day. And because The Liquidator® supplies your pool with liquid pool chlorine, it will reduce troubling high calcium levels as well as help to defend your pool against staining and scaling which will keep your pool sparkling and clear longer. The Liquidator® also allows mineral salts and other dissolved solids to fall out of solution and remain in the unit for disposal. For keeping your pool constantly clean, HASA recommends The Liquidator®. |

Liquid Chlorine vs Dry Chlorine |
There are several advantages to choosing liquid chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite) over a dry tablet system: First, it's far more soluble. Meaning it dissolves easily into the water, leaving you with clearer water faster. Second, it's easy to use. Simply pour the designated amount directly into the swimming pool. If you want to make things even easier, get a liquid chlorine feeder such as The Liquidator®. That way you will not have to change the chlorine for up to 4 weeks. Third, it works faster. In the water it immediately turns to Hypochlorous Acid, this is the killing form of chlorine, and it goes to work the second it's poured into the pool. Fourth, it's safer. You will not have to worry about having a tablet feeder floating around in your pool all of the time, which can be unsafe for children and pets. |

Wipe Out Algae |
When treating your pool with HASA Algi-control® to kill gross green and yellow algae, it is best to treat the water at the end of the day or early evening. Simply add Algi-control® along the pool edges, leave the filter running over night, then clean or backwash the filter the following day. This should be enough to eliminate the algae and prevent other algae growth. For even more effective cleaning power add one gallon of Algi-control® and follow it up with four gallons of HASA Sani-chlor®. |

Stubborn Stains or Oil on Pool Tile |
Stains on the sides of pool tile can be aggravating. To get rid of them, use HASA Tile Brite® with a stiff bristle brush or a plastic applicator pad. For tougher stains, scrub on Tile Brite® and then allow the solution to remain on the tile surface for about fifteen minutes. When that time is up, brush it again and the stains should simply lift away. Note: Tile Brite® will not remove calcium deposits on tile line. |
